MEM provides a medium through which entities are able to meet and to generate Joint Ventures and also act as ‘chaperones’ to companies not familiar with operating in foreign or countries less developed than their home country to ensure a ‘soft landing’ to the start of their venture. Misunderstandings are often borne through ignorance of culture and custom and can lead to sound business plans failing; an unacceptable outcome.
